About this course

This course has been designed to provide managers and supervisors with an understanding of workplace bullying and harassment and what they can do to prevent and manage bullying and harassment in their workplace. This course references current legislation in Australia.


The course will unpack terminology around bullying and harassment and their definitions in the workplace. Participants will learn about the detrimental effects these behaviours can have on employees and overall workplace culture and the specific duties held by managers and supervisors in addressing these issues effectively. Additionally, the course emphasises the importance of being able to identify instances of bullying and harassment promptly. It provides insights into preventive strategies and using a risk management approach to manage these behaviours effectively. Finally, participants will be equipped with practical skills in handling and responding to incidents or reports of bullying and harassment, ensuring a proactive and supportive approach to maintaining a respectful work environment.
